Golf Asia - Club Tournament Rules & format The tournament winners shall be based on the player's best five games scores. To qualify for the tournament, you must play at least 5 games. Every player shall submit their latest golf handicap index prior to the start of the tournament. The Tournament will be divided in 3 groups, class A, B, and Ladies; each group will have winners for every game, and winners for the Tournament (5 games total net scores) Note: for simplicity we will be using the handicap index instead of the adjusted course handicap. Each foursome or flight shall submit one scorecard with all the players listed on it. The group scorecard shall be submitted to any Golf Asia Tournament Officials right after each game. Please record actual number of strokes on scorecards.

Modified Golf Asia Tournament Rules Lost Ball: Hazard: One stroke penalty Rough: One stroke penalty Out of Bounds: If the player is virtually certain that his/her ball is actually out of bounds, He/she can choose one of the two options below: Option 1 - Drop a ball lateral to where the ball appears to have landed. Count number of strokes plus 2 strokes penalty Option 2 - Hit a provisional ball from the tee box or original point of origin for the next play. Count number of strokes plus 1 stroke penalty We recommend to use Option 1 to avoid delay of game. Over the Water: Water hazard with yellow or red stakes - maximum two balls in the water. Third shot shall be played at the other side of the hazard. Add one stroke every time the ball lands in the water.

Putting No gimmies on tournament play. Everybody should finish every hole by putting in. However, in fairness to all players and to speed up play, less than 8" length to the hole will be considered as a tap-in counted as one stroke.

Hitting the wrong ball: Two strokes penalty. Free Relief: Cart path, Inside Fence, Flower Bed,(designated by the golf course) Occasional water, and other obstruction as described in the local golf course scorecard. Two club length: place the ball to the nearest relief area not closer to the hole.
